Morgan Eagle Falconry
Show Times: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The Sport of Falconry is an art has been practiced for over 4000 years on almost every continent in the world. Nomajean Albright brings to you an exciting display of the birds of prey and equipment used in the sport of falconry with explanations on how these birds are used in the sport of hunting live game. They will also explain the importance of these majestic birds to our environment. We do static displays where we show our birds and offer an explanation their different characteristics and hunting styles, as well as how they are used in the sport of falconry. We also do various flight demonstrations that vary depending on the venue and space restrictions.
About Morgan Eagle Falconry:
Nomajean Albright is currently a General Class falconer. She has practiced falconry for the past six years, working with various birds of prey. Along with her husband Mark Albright and their daughter Caitlyn, they have been bringing the sport of Kings and their love of these regal birds to the public eye. Currently MorganEagle Falconry is displaying a Red Tailed Hawk, a Harris Hawk and A Lanner Falcon.
Bwana Jim Wildlife Show

Bwana Jim is an experienced animal handler filled with enthusiasm and an outrageous wit. He presents the craziest and most educational wildlife show ever seen. After seeing the show you will be talking about it, too.With over 25 years as an animal handler, Bwana Jim (who is actually Jim Moulton) and his wife and fellow handler, Linda Moulton, travel the world presenting their unique wildlife show. Bwana Jim specializes in reptiles such as snakes, alligators, and turtles, and other animals such as armadillos, wallabies and exotic birds.Bwana Jim has a rare gift for handling animals and shares his knowledge in an incredibly fun and entertaining way that is more memorable than any classroom experience.
Upland and Antler Retriever Challenge
Contest Times: 10:00 a.m., Noon and 2:00 p.m.
Upland and Antler Kennels will be putting on a FREE Retriever Challenge at this year’s show.
This fun contest will see which dog does the best job of responding to commands to retrieve a bumper from 40 yards. The contest is free and will run at noon and 2:00 p.m. each day at the show. Prizes, including a 5-bird hunt, will be awarded to those dogs with the best times.
Registration for the Challenge can be made by calling 607-664-2300 or by signing up at the Show Office at the entrance to the show. Dogs are welcome to attend the Outdoor Show with their families but must be kept on a leash.
Tanglewood Nature Center
The mission of Tanglewood Nature Center is to lead and support education and preservation efforts in our region to achieve a heightened awareness, understanding, enjoyment, and caring for our natural environment.
We strive to fulfill our mission every day by: maintaining over ten miles of trails, offering educational programming for children and adults, providing homes in our exhibits for more than 40 native and exotic animals, and welcoming over 35,000 visitors a year.
Bristol Mountain Mobile Ropes Course
The Mobile Aerial Park has 8 unique and exciting elements. Participants are 6 feet above the ground and the park is ideal for children ages 4 to 12 ($5 charge). All participants are connected to a continuous safety system in full body harnesses so participants can never be unattached.

Elaine Foy has been giving new life to fallen trees with a chainsaw for over 6 years. Elaine always found employment that allowed for some creativity rather it was working for a sign company or in a print shop. In 2011 Elaine discovered her passion was released giving new life to fallen trees with a chainsaw.
Focusing on a combination of folk art and whimsical Elaine fancies mermaids, dragons, parrot and none traditional chainsaw carved subjects.
Elaine has sculptures at an art focused bed & breakfasts, a preschool, music festivals & campgrounds not only here in the state but in Germany and Netherlands. Elaine does demonstrations, on site carvings and travels to competitions and events participating with other carvers to share and hone skills.
Elaine lives in the Finger Lakes Region of New York with her life partner and biggest supporter Richard.
Kids Ice Camp with USA Ice Team Member Ben Blegen
Times: Saturday 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Led by a member of the USA Ice Team at the World Ice fishing Championships in Latvia, 2017
Kids Ice fishing Camp is open to kids of all ages and their parents. Kids will get hands-on experience learning about ice safety, different kinds of baits used for ice fishing, basic techniques used to attract and catch fish and really cool fish facts for kids, like “All fish really do have hair like humans!” Every kids who attends will receive a free ice fishing rod and reel combo courtesy of Lucky John USA. Additional giveaways have been donated by Bucket Hoodie. Each camp will last about 30 minutes.
Hosts of Forever Wild Outdoors
The Pursuit Channel’s TV host Steve Schicker will be at the 2017 show airing their episodes of Forever Wild Outdoors. Come meet the staff, take in some of their hunting seminars and talk hunting with some experts!
Sanctioned Turkey Calling Contest
October 15 12:00 Noon
Non-sanctioned Youth Turkey Calling Contest will also be held
Winners of the Sanctioned Turkey Calling Contest will qualify for the National Turkey Calling Championship in Nashville in February 2018. There will be cash prizes for the top 3 contestants of each division. those who pre-register by October 6 will receive a free show admission pass.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Cohocton Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation booth in the Conservation Building. The non-sanctioned youth turkey calling contest will also be taking place the same day (time to be decided).

The drawing will be for a 4-man Finger Lakes Waterfowl Trip. Just show up at the show to enter the drawing!!!
Frontenac Fowlers Guide Service will provide 6-8 hours of heart pounding migration duck and goose hunting action w competition grade calling from a 24 Sea Ark super Jon john boat gunning over hand carved decoys and watching great retriever work. The winner will also enjoy a home cooked breakfast aboard the Paddles Up prepared by Capt. JAY BARNES, USCG Licensed Master Captain & NYS Licensed Guide #3741. Trip must be taken in the 2017-2018 season, 1st half Western Zone.
